If home is where you have those large flat screen televisions, and receivers that get all your channels, why would you watch on an iPad that has just 38 channels? Although I have heard if you hold the iPad within a foot of your face it looks like a larger television. Streaming to an iPad in the house is almost a waste of streaming to an iPad, most families have televisions in every bedroom, so everyone can already watch what they want. Working at DISH I have watched this turn towards streaming through the entire industry, and somehow 90% of providers came to the same app, that only gives you some channels and only in your house, but you can think of it this way they are just making sure you and your iPad are safe and sound in your house behind locked doors. I will take my chances outside the house, using my sling adapter hooked up to my DISH receiver I can stream ALL of my live subscribed channels, including my movie channels, and recorded shows to my mobile device no matter where I am as long as I have a wifi or 3G signal, or a 4G for you android owners.
