The rumors are never to far off when the upcoming Apple products are concerned, and the iPad 3 has had clearly its fair share of the rumors making their products round around the Internet.
Everyone was hankering for Apple to release its iPad 3, but some lucky so and sos already have their hands on the third generation device. One of whom has revealed the iPad 3 spyshots of its internal specifications, that confirms that the iPad 3 will feature a quad-core processor and global LTE capabilities.
The images provided by a source for the Boy Genius Report, and were obtained from a development tool called iBoot, that provides so many information on the device’s internal specifications. We can see that the devices have model numbers J1 and J2 (iPad 3,1 and iPad 3,2), but they are two different devices. One of the them is a Ai-Fi only model, whereas the other boasts the Wi-Fi and GSM/CDMA/LTE connectivity options, compatible with all the carriers over the world.
Both the devices boast a quad-core A6 processor as shown in the images, with the model number S5L8945X.
Not only that Apple’s quad-core A6 processor will run proceedings from within, sporting the model number S5L8945X. Just a little bit of trivia for all those fan boys out there, Apple’s current A4 and A5 processors carry the model numbers S5L8930X and S5L8940X respectively. Having said that, the quad-core A6 processor would clearly make it the quickest iOS device from Apple to date when released, and everyone would have loved to get hold of confirmation of a retina display too.
