Amazon’s Kindle Fire Tablet To Take Share Away From Apple This Quarter

Though Apple has regained the ground from Android based tablets in recent quarters, the market research firm IDC believes that an iPad share in the market will slide in December quarter just because of gains from the low end tablets from Amazon’s and Barnes & Noble. The firm made an estimation that an iPad held on to a 61.5 percent worldwide market share in the third quarter, while it is expected that the number will dip below 60 percent mark next quarter.
